Steve Kirsch has done a tremenous amout of work, read his fascinating research about Tom Heysek and the junk faxers, spammers and scammers at How Bryan Kos, Tom Heysek, Jeremy Jaynes rip people off for over $100 million without getting caught
Maybe the title of this page will be changed to reflect some prison terms - although it rarely happens that criminal charges are brought against the crooks.
At the Yahoo group you can read updates and if you’re in California and you lost money, you can contact Steve Kirsch. Please don’t ask me for info - all I know is what’s posted.
I can tell you that the TWTN president Bruce Thomsen refused service by certified mail. He’s a crook and they know what’s up. Notably, he is also the registered agent for Twister Networks. I actually sent two separate mailings - one for him and one for the corporation, but the other mailing was signed by another person on1/7/05. That’s despite the $3.50 I paid for restricted delivery. Have to get some legal advice on what to do next. I doubt they’ll answer.
Crooks.
Comments:
I have been taken by a twtn fax
Sorry, somehow missed your comment.
SAVE all faxes, someone recently got a $1.500 check from TWTN for one fax.
And check back here for class actions.
I received a TWTN fax last summer and still have it to remind me of how foolish I was to consider a “hot” VOIP stock. When the stock sharply tumbled, I knew I was dealing with a boiler room. Thereafter, I searched their website to seek comfort, but the reality had already settled - this was a scam.
I see now that they’ve traded the Asian cuisine for Mexican food. The amount I lost wouldn’t pay for 2 hours in an attorney’s office, but if I could somehow collect on the bogus fax, I would feel a bit redeemed for my poor investment decision. Any recommendations at this point?

Nothing new really - either save the fax or go to small claims.
The trouble with real suits and class actions is that you just don’t know whether there’s any way to collect.
It they start fax and spam promotions for Reynaldos, I expect the SEC and lawyers to take some serious action. But then again, that might happen anyway.
